SHADOWS
A FILM MADE OVER A COURSE OF A YEAR with the cream of Hereford's local acting and film-making talent. This project was originally conceived to be a chance to flex creative muscles outside the constraints of funding initiatives. It began to take shape after a short story idea from Rick Goldsmith inspired fellow film-maker Johnny Cartwright.
Filming improvisational scripting AND acting sessions, the idea transformed organically until filming was ready at Kate O'Leary's fantastically atmospheric house. A physic furniture removal man (played by Brandon), a woman in emotional meltdown (Vey) and a strange sound emanating from the attic formed the basis for the film which was originally screened as a work-in-progress at the Borderline film Festival in Hereford.
