DIGITAL FILM SCHOOL
T156 Digital film-making course with the Open University
Rick Goldsmith from Catcher Media spent three years working with Chris High to develop the course and then spent a hectic six months in the lead up to the first presentation writing content and making video tutorials. John Sinton of the OU Broadcast Unit worked alongside us to create the media for the course.
A 10 week online course packed with helpful information, practical exercises, forums and lots of film-making tutorials (like the one previewed above). Aimed at people who want to learn how to make video from scratch or improve on what they can do. Suits enthusiasts and professionals who are finding making media is something they are being asked to do in their workplace, as well people thinking about going into the industry and wanting to get a feel for the range of different roles they might like to follow.
Share your work and gain invaluable feedback and encouragement from other students and tutors on the vibrant and friendly forums.
Sign up for the next course, starting in May 2012. Lots of free video tutorials from the course available now on iTunes and YouTube.
