Formed in 1996, Catcher Media is an award-winning media company dedicated to improving lives through participation and creativity.

We create high-quality films using drama and documentary that engage, entertain and inform. Expert in using participatory methods, with over 27 years experience, we use film-making to engage diverse groups and specialise in health, heritage and sustainability projects.

We work collaboratively with organisations across the UK, Europe, Africa and India to help them deliver strategies and key messages.

Participation is at the heart of what we do: from engaging with communities on oral history projects to working with NGO’s in Africa. We use creative participatory techniques to enable groups to record their authentic voice through drama, documentary, vlogs or animation.

Our clients include The Welsh Assembly, NHS, Department For International Development (DFID), National Children’s Bureau, Ministry of Justice, Population Services International, The Open University, various school clusters, universities, numerous charities and councils. Catcher is a not-for-shareholder-profit community interest company.
