It’s never easy but it needs to be done. Parents or carers need to have those difficult discussions with their children and young people about relationships and sex. Talk the Talk the film is designed to make this easier.
It’s an entertaining and informative mix of drama and interviews with parents and teenagers. Coming from the ww.EasySRE.net website, it’s been designed as an excellent resource for schools, but has also proved helpful for parents and as part of parenting courses. It might come in handy during the Lockdown 2 that we’re all facing presently. Watch the film for free CLICK HERE.

The drama follows a father’s reaction to a letter about relationship and sex education from his teenage daughter’s school. He is shocked to realise she is growing up. At first he has a blazing row with her but as the drama unfolds we see how, with his new partner’s support (and his alter ego, Coach), he manages to have a level-headed and honest discussion with his daughter about relationships and sex, and also how to successfully negotiate drinking, parties and boyfriends with her in a calm way.
We also meet Rachel whose friend Nicky who is concerned about her youngest son’s exposure to online porn and online grooming, and how Rachel deals with a set of awkward questions from her own young son at home. Interviews with Walsall parents and students expand on key points of the drama.
