Watch Julia Goldsmith from Catcher Media on BBC1’s Bargain Hunt this Monday 23rd November at 12.15pm where she’ll be talking about Derek Evans’ photographs. Catcher Media had an unexpected request the last Summer. Julia Goldsmith, the producer on our long-running Herefordshire Life Through A Lens project was asked to appear on BBC1’s Bargain Hunt. At first we joked that she might be a contestant but the series producer asked her if she could talk about Derek Evans’ photographs. She was flattered, and felt she fitted the brief as she’d been integral to the project that had absorbed Catcher Media for 5 years, but being very modest she suggested the BBC should speak to someone from Archives or Museums Service. Luckily the producer insisted, so she obliged and filmed the segment in Leominster Antiques Centre with the help of Rhys Griffiths from HARC.
