Hereford River Carnival 2023

We wanted to share the video we made for the Hereford River Carnival. We’ve covered the event most years and it keeps on getting better all the time. Leo and Bex and their hard-working crew didn’t disappoint this year. There was music on the various stages, dance, floats on the river, Danter’s funfair, the procession through the town featuring the riverbank creature and Boo La Croux (to name but two), informative stalls, activities galore, local food and drink, a games tent, the perennial dog show and lots, lots, lots more!

Our video attempts to showcase some part of the incredible energy, enthusiasm and brilliance of the carnival, and of course, the people that make it happen.

The Hereford River Carnival is a creative and unique event that lasts two days. A celebration of the River Wye that takes place on and beside the river. Around the city of Hereford on August bank holiday weekend the event, run by volunteers, has grown and grown since its reincarnation in 2014.
