Thanks to emergency funding from National Lottery Heritage Funding we’ve been able to go back through the Catcher Media archives and pull out some treasures. One of the things we’ve been able to do is go through the original footage of our 2014 project Chewing The Cud: Memories from Hereford’s Old Livestock Market to bring you a selection of newly edited interviews. They contain lots of great moments that didn’t make it into the final cut and we’re confident you’re going to enjoy the tall tales and fascinating oral histories told by our interviewees. There are hilarious tales of doughnut competitions and staff at the Dean Leigh cafe from David Probert, Ken Jones sending orders via pigeon to Daisy Jones and singer Tom Jones at the poultry market from Denis Schiavon and many more. We’re adding new interviews all the time.
