Walsall NHS Webinars

Ever Needed a Parenting Manual? Catcher Media are very pleased to announce a whole new section to EasySRE. Alongside free films and podcasts, the award-winning website now hosts 34 wide ranging webinars. There are two examples of the webinars on this page. The video above is something we can all relate to, and need to be aware of: ‘Digital Detox – Keep Your Child Safe Online’, while the one lower down this page is entitled, ‘Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour (0-5 years)’.

The presentations are led by staff from Walsall NHS School Nursing or Health Visiting teams. Each presenter has a wealth of experience that they share and every webinar (or information film) is packed with their helpful and reassuring advice, with lots of strategies and signposting for further support.

The webinars are aimed at young people or their family/carers.

Film-makers from Catcher Media brought up two daughters but there were lots of tips that they wished they’d been told about.

The webinars are filtered by age (from 0-18 years) with specific webinars for parents/carers and SENDi children. Topics covered include: Sleep, Emotions, Puberty, Behaviour, Healthy Relationships, Contraception, Transition to secondary school, Toilet training, Dental Hygiene, Nutrition and Sexual Health. Start exploring now, the webinars are there to lend a hand. You can go straight to the page by clicking THIS LINK.

The webinars were commissioned by Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, and provided funding to make EasySRE free. NB: The other resources on EasySRE can be accessed for free by schools and health professionals once they register with an organisation’s email.
