It’s hard to credit it now but EasySRE received it’s Pamela Sheridan Sex and Relationships Education Award 10 years ago. The four of us, Carol Harris from Walsall healthcare NHS Trust, Rachel Parker from the Walsall Council and Julia and myself from Catcher Media, went down to London’s West End for the event. I think we can still all remember the shock at being announced the winners.
Even though comedian, Jenny Eclair, was incredibly gracious we still felt a little humbled by the other award-winners. They included Yvette Cooper MP, journalist Louise Tickle for a story about sexual abuse featured in The Guardian, and BBC soap Casualty for a storyline about female genital mutilation.

We’re very happy to say that EasySRE is going from strength-to-strength. Hand-on-heart, we think the films we’ve produced since that time are even better. Newer films include Snagged, U&Me and GameChanger. And we’ve just uploaded it’s 12th participatory drama film: We Need To Talk About (Healthy) Masculinity but, and I’m sure we might have mentioned this once or twice already, it’s now FREE OF CHARGE.

We’re chuffed that now any teacher or health professional can now use these films and resources. Spread the word. We’d love to hear what you think about them, and how they’ve helped you deliver your RSE sessions.
